Often referred to as Oriental Honey Buzzard. Migrant and non-breeding winter visitor found in primary and secondary forests, forest edges, scrub and parkland. 53-65 cm. Widespread across much of Indian sub-continent, East and Southeast Asia; northern populations are migratory, wintering in India and Southeast Asia, east to Lesser Sundas.
