Also known as Indian myna or Mynah. It is 23-25 cms. The myna was introduced to Australia from Asia in the 1860s. It is now widely considered a pest. It inhabits urban areas and agricultural areas. Found in an area around Laura/Mossman in northern Queensland, Brisbane, and from the NSW north coast down into most of Victoria. Found in pairs and loose flocks.

Found over most of mainland Australia except bottom half of the eastern part of Western Australia and an area where the borders of SA/NT and Queensland meet. Found in any habitat which supports mistletoe. Deposits sticky, excreted mistletoe seeds on leaves and branches.
