Also known as Yellow-winged Honeyeater. 17-18 cm. Range SW WA, se SA, southern half of Victoria, east coast of NSW and into Queensland, all of Tasmania. Found in eucalyptus forests, heathland, golf courses, orchards, parks, coastal scrub.

NOTE:    5 subspecies in Australia

campbelli:          Kangaroo Island
caudata:          King and Flinder's Island
