Range is inland south-east Australia. Habitat subtropical or tropical dry forests, particularly misltoe in eucalyptus forest/woodlands, blackbox on watercourses, box-ironbark-yellow gum woodlands, paperbarks, casuarinas, mulga and the acacias, farmland. Highly nomadic, considered endangered, habitat deprivation.
