Widely distributed in sub-equatorial Africa. Habitat is vast savannah region, commonly open country near gullies. Live in clan colonies.

    dynamic shot of him just taking off - the intense colours on his head are a magnificant contrast to the colours on the wings - it must be amazing to see them on mass
