Also known as Dozey, Stump, Tasmanian or Sleepy Robin. 16-17 cm. Endemic to Tasmania. Found in rainforest margins, tracks, up to 1200 m, open forests/woodlands, scrubs, newly cleared areas, regrowth, country gardens.

Habitat from alpine forests, high moors to wet eucalyptus forests, woodlands, coastal scrubs, beaches, orchards, pine plantation, open country and urban environs. 52-54 cm.
