Also known as Tasmanian raven, only corvid in Tasmania proper. Ranges across Tasmania, southern Victoria and in NSW from Glen Innes, Barrington Tops, Coff Harbour to Port Stephens. Habitat from alpine forests, high moors to wet eucalyptus forests, woodlands, coastal scrubs, beaches, orchards, pine plantation, open country and urban environs. 52-54 cm.
