Common migrant found in primary and secondary forests, forest edge, mangroves, old plantations, scrub, parkland and urban areas, including on small islands. 12 cm. Distribution: Breeds from Scandinavia to Russian Far East, N Mongolia, NE China and Korea; winters across S China, and most of Southeast Asia.
