In Kalimantan restricted to coastal mangroves; rest of Indonesia open woodlands and along forest edges inland. 13 cm. Distribution: Eurasia and the Orient region: widespread and common resident on Sumatra, Java and Bali; locally common in south Kalimantan and parts of Nusa Tenggara.
