Observed along dry deciduous forest edges, in scrub and in somewhat wooded cultivation near rural villages, often in small flocks; usually occurs in coastal lowlands, often in areas adjacent to mangroves. 22 cms. Range: Indonesia and Timor Leste: widespread and generally common resident throughout Nusa Tenggara, from Sumbawa east to the Kai Islands.
