Common resident of mangroves, old plantations, forest edge, secondary scrub and occasionally parkland, usually near water (i.e. ponds and abandoned quarries). 18 cm. Mainland Southeast Aia, Thai-Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Borneo, Java.
