11-13 cm. Found in mangroves, monsoon forests, vine scrubs, blossomingeucalypt woodlands; paperbarks, watercourse-vegetation, parks, garden. Range: coastal tropical nw. and n. Aust. and islands; from Broome (WA) to c. Melville, e. C. York Pen. (Q); inland to c. Katherine Gorge (NT).

    :-) I know it's named a 'read-headed' but it looks orange to me :-) I must have dodgy eyes! :-)
