15-16 cm. Found in rugged, lightly wooded hillsides/gorges above watercourses; often with spinifex. Lowland woodlands, mallee, mulga, desert oaks; blossoming grovellers, hakeas, eremophilas. Range: n. inland Aust.: e to c. Opalton (Q), n. to c. Burketown (Q), Borroloola-Roper R. (NT), s. Kimberley (WA), s. to c. Cunnamulla (Q), Oodnadatta-Musgrave Ras. (SA), Giles-Carnarvon (WA).
