The blue-winged pitta (Pitta moluccensis) is a passerine bird in the family Pittidae. The blue-winged pitta is regularly found in Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, and has been found to be vagrant in Australia, Christmas Island, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Habitat is lowland subtropical and tropical forests.

The blue-rumped pitta (Hydrornis soror) is a species of bird in the family Pittidae. It is found in Cambodia, China, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.

Found in the undergrowth of forest and any habitat with scrub and bushes. 19 cm. Common migrant throughout Sri Lanka, except highest hills.

Found in dry monsoon forest, both primary forest and dense secondary regrowth; outside breeding season mobile and somewhat nomadic flying between islands. 18 cm. Distribution: Indonesia and Timor Leste; widespread and locally fairly common resident throughout Wallacea from Nusa Penida off Bali east to among others Lombok, Sumbawa, Flores, Sumba, Timor, Buru, Seram and Kai islands.

Also known as Black-breasted Pitta. 16-19 cm. Found in monsoon rainforest, vine scrubs on watercourses, bamboo thickets, mangroves. Range: pockets of suitable habitat from coastal nw Kimberley and islands (WA) to Top End (NT) e to Groote Eylandt. Fairly common, sedentary.
