Found in the canopy of lowland evergreen rainforest from sea-level to c. 820 m, peat swamp forest and tree plantations. 13 cm. Throughout Peninsula Malaysia.

Found in forests, wooded areas, and scrub with scattered trees. 14 cm. Fairly common breeding resident throughout lowlands and up to mid hills.

Found in secondary forests, forest edges, mangrove, scrub, plantations, parkland and urban areas. 13 cm. Distribution: Indian sub-continent, S China, mainland Southeast Asia, Thai-Malay Peninsula, Greater Sundas, Palawan.

Originates from open coastal woodlands and mangroves, but has readily taken to disturbed habitats, including cultivated areas, villages and gardens. 15 cm. range: Oriental region: widespread and common resident in Sumatra, Kalimantan, Java and Bali.
