Also known as the Little Restless Flycatcher. Found in tropical woodland and riverine habitats of northern woodland habitat of n. Australia and s. New Guinea: found from Kimberley Region of WA, across Top End of NT, to Gulf Country and sw Q.; Saibai Island in Torres Strait. Was regarded as a subspecies of Restless Flycatcher.

Also known as Dishlick, Dish Washer, and Scissors Grinder. 16-21 cm. Range from Victoria, NSW, Queensland except Cape York and sw Queensland, top half NT, bottom half of SA, top and bottom of WA. Found in open woodlands and forests, red river gums near water, coastal scrub, golf courses.
