Found in rainforests, monsoon forest, scrubs. 28-33 cm, male larger. Range: coast n. Cape York Pen. (Q) s. to Weipa on w. coast and to McIlwaith Ra., n. of Coen on e. coast. Fairly common. Sedentary.
