Found in forest canopies from extreme lowlands to montane forest at 1,100 m and especially understory along logging tracks and forest edges, riverbanks, and dense tangled secondary growth. 12 cm. India and southernmost China through southeast Asia to Singapore, Sumatra, the Anabas and Borneo.

Found in primary and secondary forest, forest edges, old plantations and scrub. 11 cm. Distribution: India, mainland Southeast AsiaThai-Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Borneo.
